Chai Tea Overnight Oats
My friend Cheryl Hoover from Pharmacy in Your Kitchen (Pharmacist, Plant Based Nutrition Certified, Coauthor and Cancer Warrior) has created an amazing recipe using my Chai! I'm so excited to share it with you below:
Are you wanting to spice up your overnight oats? If so, then this is the recipe for you! 🥣 I brewed a batch of Francesca's Chai, a spectacular blend of spices including cinnamon, cardamom, peppercorn, ginger, cloves, star anise, nutmeg and turmeric. 🫖 Then I simply replaced 1/2 of the plant milk with the chai tea. So flavorful and so simple! 🫖🧡

Here is the recipe I used:
2 cups rolled oats (I used rolled oats with ancient grains and seeds from @traderjoes)
2 Tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
1 cup grated carrot
2/3 cup raisins
2 cups plant milk
2 cups brewed Francesca's Chai
3 Tbsp maple syrup
1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Combine, cover and refrigerate overnight. Before serving, add a dollop of almond butter and fresh figs. Enjoy!
